I see that the status of this story is 'hiatus' and that you haven't updated in three years. Despite this, I still enjoyed it and hope that you haven't abandoned it completely. At first I thought it was going to be one of those super!Harry fics, but your authors notes have been reassuring. I like the way you used the dark arts to do a morally debatable, but ultimately good dead. I wonder when the other founders will appear! Incidentally, are you the same Lord Ravenclaw who is the Dark Lord Potter forum administrator? No reason behind the query; I'm just curious.

I may write more in the future. In truth, it's been on hiatus much longer, see the FFN Updated date for the actual last time I updated. Yes, I am the same Lord Ravenclaw who runs DLP and wrote this site.

Who is this "he" that keeps getting mentioned over and over again near the end? It seems like you went back and forth between first and third person narration. It's quite annoying.

I majored in History in school. This is not a complaint, but the details are out of place for 932 AD. No bathrooms as we know it or printed booklets in a kiosk. Just my observations. This piece needs no changes for you're not writing historical fiction, not that you would change with my observations. I like it a lot. Cheers!

I came up with some reasons why Wizards had such modern amenities such as toilets, but really I was a little lazy about detail when I started Era back in December of 2004. A lot of reviews on FFN over the years have nitpicked my various historical issues, and I may when I have the time and inclination fix the first few chapters and continue it.

Just a correction. Summer doesn't have an equinox, it has a solstice. Equinoxes are fall and spring (where day and night are equal) and solstices are summer and winter (where day or night is longer than the other).

hm. It's been a long while since I read this story, but it's still enjoyable as ever. A few times (and I mean once or twice) the writing had a sort of "I did this, then this, and this" sort of feel, but that's difficult to avoid in 1st pov... but that's the extent of the things I picked up. I love the story, and I hope you write more to it. =) Thank you.

It does have that feel, and if I rewrote it today that's one thing I'd change among many. Sadly, my writing skills were a bit lacking then (and perhaps still need help). Anyways, thanks for the review, and I'm glad you still enjoy it. :)
