Well I would certainly like to see some more fleur... This is interesting but Im am very confused about the timeline....

If you're still following it, I just posted a new chapter. Regarding the timeline - it wasn't supposed to be confusing, sorry. The prologue takes place about three weeks *after* the first chapter, so basically, the story is about how it got to that point. Thanks for your reviews!

Excellent start, just wish this was updated more since I really want to start figuring this story out more. The two things that bugged me most so far is the attack on Aimee at the Quidditch match, and her characterization. The first we don't have any details about really but it keeps getting brought up; hopefully you will either have a flashback to it or you will describe it more. As for Aimee's characterization, it seems like she really doesn't have many good traits from how she has been described so far; and yet Harry has been with her for a year so she must have something good. I would suggest trying to show the positives as well as the negatives just so it will increase the tension later on when Harry chooses between her and Fleur.

o_O I just noticed I hadn't responded, I'm sorry. So, RE: Attack at the Quidditch Finals. Yeah, you will find out what happened there. It's not *that* important, but it's a small clue nonetheless. It's where everything started. RE: Characterisation. Well, I'm trying. I hope this chapter accomplishes that and has what you were looking for; at least for me, it did. Just a small note: They've been together for a month, not a year. Thanks for the review, man.

Truth be told, I don't have the energy to speculate. This chapter was very good, but the action wore on a bit. I think it's partly because the story is going to be focused on the "past" for a while, which is something I'm not generally a fan of. Still good work.
Looking forward to more.

Well, glad that you liked it still. And true, looking at it from the Prologue, it'll be in the past, but I think it shouldn't be too bad ... since the Prologue didn't tell all that much. I hope. But in any case, less action in the next chapter. Thanks for the review.

Now this is intriguing. What is it that Fleur is after I wonder.
I must say I like this Fleur more than how she turned out in canon, it just seems to fit the Tri-Wizard version must better then what we saw in DH.
Keep it up if the next few chapters are going to be this quality then you'll have a great story on your hands.

Yes, what is 'it', indeed. I'm not telling, of course :p Next chapter will be set two weeks before this, and then we'll see how it came to this point. Regarding Fleur ... eh, I'm actually not sure how DH compatible this is. I've read the book once, and that was it. So it could very well be that she is different here then in DH; but I wouldn't really know. But I agree, I like her this way, and she needs to be this way anyway, for the story to work. Thanks for your review :)

Great start to this story! I'm really intrigued, not to mention glad that the Harry/Fleur interactions are already so dynamic.
Looking forward to more.

Thanks! Glad you liked it, I put a revised version up, just so you know -- the opening of the chapter was cut short, and I changed the beginning of the fencing scene, as well as some trifles.

i can't see what will happen next, but it was awesome, keep it up.

Thanks. I put a revised version up, btw (not much, just tweaked the opening of the chapter, and the fencing scene) What will happen next is a shift two weeks back in time, to see how Harry got into the cell :)

Very interesting, I look forwards to seeing where you take this. The fencing scene was fun, though as one who fences I must comment that even a marginally skilled fencer can crush a true amateur. And you seemed to imply that Ana was an amateur and Fleur was at least slightly skilled, a fight like that should not last more than 3 or 4 seconds. Quite fun though keep up the good work.
Thanks for writing,
Jay

Eh, if it was at least fun, the fencing scene, I mean ... think about it somewhat like an action movie, it has some wtf moments, but it's always cool. If I achieve that, I'm happy. Regardless, I changed it a bit; the implied very long time the fight lasted (which was unintentional) is gone, as well as the nonexistant motivation to start the fight in the first place. Thanks for your review.
