Im really enjoying your story, its very diffrent from anything else that ive read in quite awile. Please continue.
What a start! If you can keep this up, This will be a GREAT story. I have never read any fan fiction that caught me up in the story quite this much. It was terribly disappointing to reach the end of the chapter with no more. I will be eagerly awaiting updates.
The characters seem real and, so far, consistent with their existing personalities. Excellent portrayal of an Harry, looking for a way to fix things...

Thank you! :) I'm having a lot of fun with this at the moment. Hopefully, the next chapter will be out Sunday or Monday. Glad to hear you're pleased with the characters.
Can't say that I like it. Even disregarding words like "envenerated" and various other mistakes (hp-lexicon is your friend).
The biggest problem in my eyes lies in characters. Harry, for example, doesn't act and speak like a hundred years old wizard, but rather like a teenager who suddenly got too much power on his hands. His inability to deal with Mrs. Norris and Filch is absolutely unbelievable.
Snape and Malfoy are OOC too, though not as much.
And this "what house he was in" thing is awfully contrived. I mean, really? The one thing Death Eater will ask Dark Lord about is what house he was in school?
Not everything is bad, though. I like some parts of the plot and action scenes are solid. I will follow this for a while.

Thank you for correcting me--thought I had the spelling correct, but clearly not. :P He doesn't exactly act like his age, no. There's a reason for that, which will be explained at some point along the way. It's not so much his inability to deal with Filch and Norris per se, as his desire not to be noticed jut yet. At the end of chapter two, Harry would have killed Mrs. Norris, probably, and said to hell with subtlety. The thing with the school is meant A) for humor (I thought it was funny, anyway) and B) to set certain trails up for later. Could you specify how Snape is OOC? He's reacting the way I think Rowling's Snape would react, mostly, to a new Dark Lord, who's potentially far more dangerous than Voldemort. Thank you. The action scenes are where I'm least confident, I must admit.
