Well, this task is going to be a bit harder than i had originally envisioned. Well done.

It's good to see Meciel and Harry having their disagreements. Perhaps they will end up disentangling. We shall see. Well done on the chapter.

Your Dumbledore is written very well. Benevolent, but with enough of an edge beneath his exterior that you can really believe that he is one of the most powerful wizards in the world.
I would have thought Harry would have treated Skeeter a lot more harshly, but perhaps you're just biding your time in that respect.

The interactions with the professors are all priceless. You've been able to unleash Harry's biting sarcasm and utter disregard for other very nicely within the walls of Hogwarts. Great stuff.

Very well done.
Well, there not going to be any faculty claiming Harry put his name in this time around.
This tournament should be very interesting indeed.

Excellent. As soon as killed the last dog and pronounced his debt gone, it was very clear that he would be entered in the Tournament. Very well set up.
The dog fight was good, but I do wonder how they made it past the wards.

Harry's interaction with Snape was prefect. This Harry is certainly not going to come out on the losing end of a verbal battle with Snape. Or any other variety of battle.
It seems like being at Hogwarts will really temper Harry, cause him to develop more social control. Although his interactions with the other fourth years weren't a great indication of this.
Great work.

Well, i didn't expect Harry to voluntarily offer to become a student. Granted, if Harry doesn't want to do something, it's usually quite the ordeal to get him to do it.
Harry mingling with the Gryffindors should be interesting.
Well done.

It's nice to see four schools in the...Quad-Wizard Tournament. It would seem to be something that would only be tweaking canon slightly, but would open up a whole other world of possibilities for plot paths.
Well done overall.

The action sequences in this were really good.
I see how you plan to get Harry back to Hogwarts, and it was set up very nicely.
Great work.

It was interesting that Harry knew about Meciel's manipulations the entire time. I like that development, as it rather eliminated the possibility that an outside force is going to be able to turn the two against one another.
I like that Harry has the ability to think rationally, not being bloodthirsty at all time, as evidenced by his letting Amanda and Daniel go.
Great work.

Well, Harry didn't really have to strain himself too much to escape. Which is acceptable, considering he doesn't have the most elite of guards.
So i guess we know that Harry is never going to be free of Meciel's influence. I assume it's not physical in nature, just having someone being a part of your for so long, has rather created a mental dependency.
Good chapter, yet again.

I think you've created a new genre.
Delinquent!Harry. Well done. he fights monsters, sacrifices pederasts and partakes in robberies of McDonalds'.
The Knights of the Cross would seem to be very overmatched against the Denarian forms, but I suppose being able to contend with them is a prerequisite of acceptance to their little clique.
Well done.

Harry certainly seems to be making quite the life for himself in Chicago.
It will be interesting to see how you pull of Harry interacting with other people, because as of right now, he really can't do it without wanting to kill someone, which really won't endear himself to the Hogwarts populace.
Good work.

Another good chapter, as always.
While it was certainly well written, very detailed, I find myself less interested in the Nevernmore than our world itself. I don't know why, just doesn't have the same appeal from a storytelling aesthetic, I guess.
I do like the last line of the chapter, and finding out that Harry will get to Hogwarts.

Good chapter.
I find it interesting that Harry still connects with the same wand. I would think that his immersion in pure evil would have forged for him a different psyche, one that would not be compatible with the "good" Harry in canon. I'm sure you had a reason for doing this, however. I look forward to see where you take this.
Review for The Denarian Renegade: Book One Chapter 4 from Voice of the Nephilim on March 12, 2008
Great stuff going on here.
Demonic battle sequence was quite excitingly written, with the respective forms of each combatant rather creative.
I am surprised Harry was able to hold his own against his adversary, but that's probably you're way of displaying how powerful demon Harry will become.
Good stuff.

Well, this is certainly a Dark Harry that you've drawn up in this story. Not that I find myself having much sympathy for the rapist.
I do wonder how Harry's, assumed on my part, assimilation into the wizarding world is going to go, considering that he already seems to possess power equal to that of the more powerful wizards around.
Great stuff.
Review for The Denarian Renegade: Book One Chapter 2 from Voice of the Nephilim on March 12, 2008
Good chapter.
I find myself very intrigued by the concepts of faith in a seven year old boy. It strips away a lot of the pretense that often accompanies the fundamental philosophies of religion, breaking it down very simply, as someone that young would. Do i put my trust in He who hath let me suffer, so She who offers me an escape. Very simple when seen through Harry's eyes.
So, it would seem that Harry is part-demon. The pedophile certainly found that out the hard way. The best part is that in this type of story, in the world you've created where God does exist, the pederasts' death will be but the beginning of his suffering. The gore was well done as well. That's always appeals to me.
Well done.

Quite the excellent beginning to this tale.
I had originally held off on reading this, seeing as how I've no prior experience with the Dresden Files. I'm glad I decided to start this, as besides being very well written, I didn't find myself lost at all, so you're doing a rather good job of explaining this world.
I liked the idea of Third Sight. From what I've read on higher dimensional physics, what you've written is similar to what reality is theorized to actually look like.
Regardless, good work.
