I would love to see this as a whole story.
Even a shortish 40-60k story about this could very well be one of the greatest non Harry centric fics ever written.

Welcome aboard, sir! Nice to reread one of my favorite post-DH stories ever again. It even inspired a few little things of mine - a lot of great ideas in this one.
