Chapter One: Remy’s Quest

“This will be the last time we ever deal with you Remy” Wolverine said while he had Gambit by the collar with his adamantium claws against his neck. “Gambit didn’t do nothing though I swear!” Gambit pleaded with Wolverine. “Yeah whatever Cajun next time you fuck with us ill cut your throat out without a single though!” Wolverine said cockily. “Watch where you hold those or Gambit will watch them for you!” Gambit said pushing wolverine off of him. “Both of you two stop it” I Finally chimed in blowing them both back using my Force Push technique. “Whatever Wolverine never trusts Gambit anyway but Gambit know he done nothing wrong and you try that again Gambit wont Hesitate to blow you back to the bayou.” Gambit said as he exited the room. “What happened Logan?” I Asked. “Nothing you need to worry about spell flinger! I suggest you ask the betrayer.” He said as he walked out the room. “Wow what happened here?” Jubilee asked as she walked in the room and saw gambits body print through the wall. “Nothing Gambit and wolverine seem to have gotten into it as usual I’m going to go check on Gambit right now.” I said walking out of the room. “Geez all I wanted was a cheese sandwich.” Jubilee stated as she stepped over the debris and walked over to the fridge.

Gambits Point of view:

 “Logan never trusted Remy anyway cher don’t worry about it he could never find out what I’m working on I’m heading out to get the power source now ill talk to you later.” I said as I headed towards the X-Jet. “Remy stop!” I heard a voice yell at me. “What you want from Gambit Ultimate?” I said to Ultimate. “Look what ever is happening you know better then to let Logan into this he never really trusted you!” He said to me. “No one ever trusts Gambit they always think Gambit is gonna hurt them or doesn’t deserve to be apart of the X-Men so Gambit been working on a project that would prove to the X-Men that he deserves his spot on the team.” I said to ultimate. “Well let me help you out Gambit you know I got your back throughout it all.” He said to me expressionless as usual. “Sure come on lets get on the X-Jet we going to a place only know to the Mayans and Gambits accomplices of coarse!” I said as we began to take off in the X-Jet.

“Something don’t seem too right.” I said pulling out my Bo staff. “Well let’s find out my Cajun friend!” Said Ultimate as we rushed into the building. “There he is kill him at any cost!” Benton said pointing at me. Out of no where 20 ninjas came as Benton Teleported to a room on the roof where the power shard was lying. “Aw and here Gambit was hoping for a challenge!” I Said pulling out some cards from my left coat pocket charging them up. “I know right do you want me to save you some?” Ultimate said Charging up his hands with the same kinetic energy I use. “Of course, Wouldn’t be fair if you had all the fun!” I said bashing in one of the ninjas head with my staff while throwing the Ace of Spades at another one watching him explode. “I never get tired of watching you throw those exploding cards!” Ultimate said punching a ninja in the stomach and blowing him up from the inside as his body explodes into pure dust. “And Remy never gets tired of throwing them! Jump!” I Said as I charged up my Bo Staff and hit it into the ground causing an explosion of energy destroying the rest of the ninjas. “Aw no fair you get to destroy most of them but I couldn’t just mind fuck them?” Ultimate said uncharging his fist. I laugh as I jump up into the room where Benton is at and break the glass with my staff. “Stay back kid this one is mine.” I Screamed at Ultimate as I charged at Benton who teleported behind me and knocked me through a window. “You seriously are going to try this! Wonderful!” Benton smiled as he created a blue sword with just his mind and charged after me with it. “Its funny how this Crystal tunes up kinetic abilities never before could I use the energy inside of me to create such a blade!” Benton said as he charged at me with the blade luckily hitting me right in my armor plate but making an slash through my jacket causing me to fall back into a steel wall. “Gambit has had enough Benton!” I jumped up with my Bo Staff charged hitting Benton with as much force as I could causing him to fly back into a wall. “The name is Gambit remember it!” I screamed as I through a deck of 52 cards at Benton he teleported behind me and tried to slice me with his sword I jumped back and through the queen of hearts right at his face. “Good shot Gambit” Ultimate screamed at me. Just then Benton got up laughing as he ran towards me. I had just enough time to reach out and touch the zipper of his coat before he hit me with the sword, his coat exploded and he stood there laughing it off. “What the hell!” I said. “You old Bayou rat don’t you understand your tricks are useless the crystal makes me immune to weaker charges! Now DIE!” Benton ran towards me screaming as he threw a rain of kinetic swords pinning me to a wall. But he stopped and started screaming in horror out of no where. “Ok I’ve let this go along long enough now hes in a state of horror for as long as I can hold the connection remy!” Ultimate said to me. “No kid stop or he will” too late to finish my sentence the swords pinning me to the wall exploded leaving me in serious condition. “Oh no remy!” he yelled losing concentration of his telepathic bond with Benton. “HAHAHA good bye you guys I don’t have time to play with you I have one more trick up my sleeve though!” Benton touched the ground causing the whole building to glow with kinetic energy. “Goodbye and good riddance Remy LeBeau!” He said as he rode away on what seemed like pink electricity. “Remy!!!!” Ultimate ran over to me and next thing I know…BOOM
