A good chapter - the interaction with Harry Potter and the Gatekeeper was a little too rushed for my liking, though. Harry's acceptance of an alternate reality was a little too much for my willing suspension of disbelief. Other than that though, the battle scenes were great, and all that's left for you now is some in-depth and powerful characterization. Keep it up!

I like the addition you made about the town. The tours were a nice touch. Though Amused Gatekeeper, doesn't really fit. Maybe solemn, or kind, but while harry is panicking and freaking out I would assume he would be a little more compassionate. Basicly treat The gatekeeper like a good Dumbledore.

I didn't spot anything really different from the one you posted at DLP. But it was good. The only complaint I have is that those little thoughts like "Fuck that hurt," or " Christ, these things are fast..." In the middle of a fight scene they feel unnecessary. If you want to explain them make them more statements like I frowned as I realized how fast they really were, or I tried not to think about how much pain I was in from the blow... Reading thoughts comes off as amateurish most of the time... Quazi
