Even though its only One chapter at the moment, It already is 80% better than most other twin-fics. I have a dark desire to see harry paired with his twin. If you make that happen, as the summary suggests.....You will be my new god! and this will become my favorite story :) keep up the excellent work

Well, good starting, I'm curious about what will come, but there is not enough yet for me to tell if I'll like it.

WTF. I just realized that the carving on Harry's gravestone must have been Jennifer's doing. Wow. I'm stupid. Anyways, this has been nicely polished up since you posted the original version on DLP, and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment. The way you've introduced Jennifer at the end is great, particularly this line: "A frightening, exhilarating idea – it was improbable beyond measure, completely mad – ." I'm curious, though; will Harry be the brother of the GWL or will be a full-fledged Person-Who-Lived himself? I remember from the first draft that he didn't have a scar when he met her, but he obviously had one right after Voldemort's attack. Now that I think about, that raises another question in my mind. Jennifer has a scar, too, right? So why did Hagrid only assume Harry was dead and take Jennifer with him? Also, wouldn't it be logical for Hagrid to take Harry's body with him anyways? Anyways, this will probably be revealed soon (it better be!), so I'll cease pondering now. One last thing - make sure Harry is competent (I would expect it of you since you're from DLP, but I still wanted to explicitly say it).

Haha, yes, that was from here. I hid a few small clues throughout the chapter. There are more, look for them if you like. Also, glad that the changes worked out that well. "I'm curious, though; will Harry be the brother of the GWL or will be a full-fledged Person-Who-Lived himself?" Yes, well, that is question, right? Dumbledore hopes the prophecy means him, since Jen seems lost to him. As for if that is the truth ... we'll see. But no, he has no scar now and never had one either. The general opinion is that Voldemort never got to him. He went to Jen first, and everything happened just like it did in Canon with Harry. That is one of the finer points; we have here a difference of what the general population thinks, what Dumbledore thinks really happened and what Harry concludes. We have two statements about that in the chapter: Harry's own (1) “So he did something in between, but why? If the only thing he wanted to do was to kill … or perhaps … he did try to kill me and something went wrong?” to which Dumbledore agrees, but that's rather ambiguous -- Harry might think at that moment that "something went wrong" with the Killing Curse Voldemort fired at him, but it could really just as well mean that his sister crawled between them before it could hit Harry. And (2) "The general opinion is that Voldemort tried to continue his killing after he was done with your parents, but the magic backfired, and both of you died in the subsequent explosion." which is the expression of the general believe that Jen survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for unknown reasons, and before Voldemort could do anything else, Harry died in the following explosion together with Voldemort. Lastly, I changed a little thing here from my first draft as well -- now, Hagrid never found Harry. He found Jen, dug around where she'd been laying in the rubble a bit, but since the Muggles arrived, and he couldn't find Voldemort's body either, he assumed both had been annihilated and took off with Jen only. And when Dumbledore later came to check for himself, not really trusting Hagrid ... well, that's the second scene in the chapter. Look for an old man in there. I hope this is cleared up; since that is really nothing secret, only a bit hidden and most likely confusing and way too complicated on my part *sighes* The true question is of course, what *really* happened that night, since that leads back to the question about just who (Harry/Jen) is what here. *That* is the secret :D Yeah, now I've rambled for ages, thanks for your patience ... and no dim-witted!wimp!Harry here either, no fear :)

I didn't get a chance to tell you on DLP, but I've got to say that you're off to a great start here. Your edits really polished up the story, and I'm impressed. Not sure where you're going with it yet, but I like it. Good work.

Thanks! Glad what I changed worked out. As for where I'm going with it ... well, as I said, I might surprise myself there, since the ending is up in the air (so far) :D
