Title: La Blue Wizard | HP/La Blue Girl crossover. How do you avoid Oedipus and Age of Consent issues whilst raising a boy whose demonic heritage requires him to feed on sexual energy? If you're Lily Potter, you call on your best friend Emmeline Vance to become a special kind of "wet nurse." | |

I am looking forward to more of this. Quite an interesting 'diet' Harry requires. I look forward to future chapters with great anticipation.

I like your story... but what does bra mean?

Bra = friend in Welsh slang

Have to admit to not understanding a lot of the witty repertoire , but it was still funny.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 7 from knitchick on April 20, 2009
Things are getting interesting now.

Vwry suave James. I'm also glad Hermione seems less uptight than in the canon.
Nice chapter.

Nice chapter Is Harry going to be on the team 1st year? I look forward to finding out that and what ever else you have cooked up.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 8 from silverlasso on April 19, 2009

'No soup for you' is that from the soup Nazi or some other reference?
So baby Harry has entered the world and is instaiable from the sounds of it.
Love it!

Very interesting first chapter. You have a deviant mind... I like that!
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 8 from DJ32 on April 16, 2009
Keep it up this is the most fun I have had with one of yours since "The Sweat of a Gladiator " and I think this is better. Also I would love to see H/Hr/LB/DG&PP and nice work with Draco that should be fun and thanks for writing.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 8 from loatroll on April 16, 2009
Great work! I do think: "They even knew things about Hogwarts that were written down! " should probably have been something along the lines of: "... weren't written down!"
Interesting stuff overall, and as I wrote before, I love the usage of Welsh and Welsh slang, touches like that go a long way in increasing quality and stuff.
Thanks for the great read.

Extra Points for Draco! Thanks, man, lifted my spirits high, this did.

Good story so far. A bit... odd... but good. The Welsh is a nice touch too. I had forgotten about the popularity of speaking it in Wales and that Harry would have been raised there.
I have to ask though, where did you find the phrases? Is there an on-line dictionary or something? I ask, not for Harry, but for another character in a fic I'm writing.

Just google "Welsh Slang" and sort through the first dozen links.

I like Harry & his Welsh heritage and the undergoround Welsh frat at Hoggy. Keep it up thanks for writing.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 7 from yamaban on April 15, 2009
Yes! Welsh/English matters reign over Hogward's House matters!
Good thinking on Neville/Susan ship.
On Susan: a good confidant is what Hermione needs most, and Susan in deeply enough integrated in the Wizarding World to give Hermione the needed infos to avoid blunders (like SPEW -freedom over betterment), and even just to be a girl in the adolescence.
Thanks for the chapter.

Good work! Now when you show how things should be I can't believe I haven't seen this before! We know James Potter is most likely a Welshman, then it's more likely than not that Harry-that-grows-up-with-his-real-parents would at /least/ know a bit of welsh, and probably use it. Great work on that!
Thanks for the great read!

Thanks for the review(s). I'm glad that you're enjoying the story. I'm still going to focus on the Shikima story, so don't look for the Welsh angle to become a major theme in this fic. Maybe another story, though.

Ok, really digging this unusual development. Introducing the British cultural differences as an additional layer of ally grouping is brilliant.

Thanks. I thought it would be a logical outcome of having Harry grow up with his parents in Wales. It is possible, I guess, that all of the snooty prejudice within the wizarding world is based on blood, but I really can't see the Malfoys and other pureblood English not looking down upon pureblood Welsh, or Irish...much less treat the Patil family as peers.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 7 from Rubel on April 15, 2009
Cool. Nice background to the characters. I've never seen a HP fic that mentions the differences between the various british nations.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 6 from Alcatras on April 14, 2009
i like the very idea of this story and it is geting better with each chapter , congrats for another good idea.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 6 from SmacksKiller on April 14, 2009
Meh, Hermione kind of broke the story for me. There is no way that an 11 years old would react like that. Shikima or no Shikima.

So I take it that you don't have an eleven or twelve-year old daughter who screams over The Jonas Brothers, or reads "Blush," "Cosmo Girl," or any of the other rags that reach down to preteen girls with stories that are far too adult for their father's liking? Or is it that you think it's OOC for Hermione to be something other than an asexual bookworm? It was a mental reaction, not a physical one. She won't be shagging anyone anytime soon.
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 6 from loatroll on April 14, 2009
Good work! Very good characterizations of everyone, and I really like the small touches like a wolf guarding the sheep of the Potter clan.
Looking forward to more.

Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 5 from loatroll on April 10, 2009
Woah interesting take on the prophecy thing! I'm not sure if I've even seen anyone do something like that before, almost everyone tends to rigidly hold Harry (or sibling) or poor Neville as the-One-with-many-hyphens.
I'm really looking forward to the next chapter ;-P
Review for La Blue Wizard Chapter 5 from Rubel on April 10, 2009
